When we say something is beautiful it is because it exhibits qualities which we have learnt to define as beautiful, similarly when we say something is ugly it is because it exhibits qualities we have learnt to define as ugly. Where one person sees beauty another may see only ugliness. This is duality. All things are beautiful, ugly and everything inbetween. All things are good and bad, right and wrong, guilty and innocent, ordered and chaotic... It all depends on how we choose to see it. |
