Bennachie is not a particularly high hill even by Scottish standards (1733ft) but it dominates the western skyline of the Aberdeenshire farm lands to the north and east of Inverurie. There is a Visitor Centre and numerous forest walks as well as trails right to the top. We like to explore the forest trails around the bottom of Bennachie where there are many paths and picnic sites to choose from.
