These pages describe some of the places our family have gone for days out usually involving a short walk and a picnic.

All the places are within an hour or so drive from Aberdeen and are easily accessible.

The places listed here reflect only a few of the huge number of possible days out to be had in this historical and scenic part of Scotland.

As we go out to other places of possible interest we will add more pages to this site.
