Barry McCann and Mick Saunders present a new Geometrical Construction of the Giza Plateau. Although some researchers are very dismissive, claiming that 'all these so called alignments are pure coincidence', it seems that some of them were 'originally intended' even if many are the incidental result of the power of geometry to 'generate' multiple alignments from a small number of intentional alignments.

We believe that a Grand Plan was established, but that it cannot be assumed that all the structures (and their 'apparent' alignments) are part of the 'original' Plan. There is a need to 'weed out' the suspect alignments and see what is left...

My own studies in architectural geometry have made me very cautious of the claims of many geometers who I believe are far too anxious to accept their own 'discoveries', most of which are sadly lacking in any real accuracy. I wrote a paper entitled A Cautionary Tale (published on Ian Lawton's Genesis site) which objectively showed why many 'apparent' alignments simply cannot be automatically accepted as intentional...

Last year I received an email from Mick Saunders containing a complex looking construction that covered the entire Plateau - almost obliterating the pyramids. What came through immediately was a series of octagons - alongside a table of dimensions with an average accuracy of 0·033%. Unable to ignore this, Mick and I exchanged daily emails as he attempted to help me understand what he had 'discovered'.

I have been pleased to act as a catalyst for Mick's later work and together we are presenting it here...
