I have taken the liberty of creating an entirely fictitious G4 to see what happens with 'false alignments'. It is of no particular size and it was drawn freely to be smaller than G3 and was placed onto the Giza Plateau in a position where it was not obviously aligned, vertically or horizontally, with any other structure on the site.

Unfortunately I cannot take responsibility for the lack of available survey data for my Site Plan but I am using the same information that everybody else seems to have. In other words, although my 'alignments' may be suspect, so will everyone else's - and it is because I am concerned with the ease with which so many other geometers accept their 'discoveries' that I am presenting my ideas here.

Drawing-1
...shows G4 positioned arbitrarily by me in a relatively 'clear' space. In order to start me off I drew a Golden Rectangle such that it's upper edge aligned with the apex of G2 and the left edge with the East side of G2. That is all. The SE corner was within about 5m. of the South East corner of G4 so I then moved my G4 to align it with that corner of the Golden Rectangle.

My new pyramid is now in place on the Giza Plateau and, as far as we know has just this one alignment - with G2 - although it does also come close to a corner of a G3 enclosure wall.

Note that the dimensions of G4 are unknown.

Drawing-2
...here the Golden Rectangle is rotated 90º and the size adjusted so that the upper edge aligns with the South face of G2 and the lower edge aligns with the South face of my G4. If the left edge of the rectangle is aligned with the West face of the G3c satellite then the right edge will align with the East faces of the G1 satellites.

Drawing-3
...here the size of the Golden Rectangle is enlarged so that the upper edge aligns with the apex of G2 and the lower edge with the apex of G4. Align the left edge with the apex of G3 and the right edge will align with the Eastern Walls of the Sphinx and Valley Temples.

The lower left corner is also close to a G3 enclosure wall.

Drawing 4
...here the Golden Rectangle has been enlarged to embrace G3c in the West and the Sphinx and Valley Temples in the East. If the lower edge is aligned with the South face of G4 then the upper edge will align with the North wall of the G2 Mortuary Temple.

Drawing 5
Here I have swapped the rectangle for a 3.4.5 Right Triangle aligned with the South East corner of G4. The size of the triangle is adjusted until the upper point is horizontally level with the North face of G2.

The left edge will then align with the East face of G3b and the diagonal will cut across the South West corner of G2

If the triangle is reversed, still aligned with the South East corner of G4, and the right edge aligned with the Eastern walls of the two Valley Temples the upper point will align with the North Wall of the Sphinx Temple.
The diagonal also passes through the rear entrances of the G2 and G3 Valley Temples.

If the triangle is enlarged until the lower left corner aligns with the South West corner of G4 then the diagonal will pass through the Rump of the Sphinx and cut across the South East corner of KhentaKhawe's Tomb...

Drawing 6
Because I tend to find 3.4.5 Triangles all over sacred sites (despite what some might say about their supposed rarity) I have introduced here a 5.12.13 Right triangle for variety...

The lower right corner of the Eastern triangle is also aligned with the South East corner of G4. Its size is adjusted so that the upper point is horizontally level with the G1 Apex.

The left edge then aligns with the entrance to the G3 Mortuary Temple.

If the same triangle is moved West so that the lower right corner aligns with the South West corner of G4 then the left edge aligns with the Eastern face of the G3a satellite - and the diagonal cuts across the North West corner of G2... and the G2 satellite...

Drawing 7
...here the same Triangle has been reversed and aligned with the South West corner of G4.

Still aligned with the Apex of G1, the right edge now aligns with the Rump of the Sphinx.

If the same triangle is moved East so that the lower left corner aligns with the South East corner of G4 then the right edge now passes through the centres of the G2 Valley, and the Sphinx, Temples.
Also the diagonal cuts across the South East corner of Campbell's Tomb and through the centre of KhentaKhawe's Tomb...

NB: This horizontal displacement in Drawings 6 & 7 is governed by the width of G4 - which was arbitrarilly set at the start...

Drawing 8
The Triangle is now enlarged so that the upper point is horizontally level with the North face of G1.

The right edge now passes through the Head of the Sphinx

If the triangle is reversed and re-aligned with the East face of G4 the diagonal will cut across the South West corner of Campbell's Tomb...

Conclusions
My view is that these alignments can be found in many such constructs partly because the designers have built into Giza such geometric harmonics in the first place and partly because the creator of the universe gave us 'Geometry'. Once we start to experimant with geometry, the 'Universal Harmony' takes charge - and we lesser mortals are no longer in control.

As I've shown above just one alignment, when added to existing alignments, will 'snowball'. I most certainly did not put them there and, as G4 is not real, the Ancient Egyptians could not have known about them. One could just as easily place a fictitious 'gateway', or entrance to a 'secret chamber', and find many alignments already in existence...
